We are delighted with the addition Kurt Will just finished building for us. He and his crew were professional, responsive, and very good at what they do. They were also unflappable, addressing the few issues that came up quickly and effectively.
While searching for homes around Durango, we decided to build our home instead. Our realtor recommended a few builders and we ended up meeting with Kurt Will. After our first impression of Kurt, we decided to use Will Construction to build our new dream home. Kurt made the initial planning and design from out of state easy and plans were drawn up. After moving to Colorodo, we lived in a trailer while the entire process of our build was done. During the entire project we worked closely with Kurt and his crew. His lead, Kevin, as well as his crew, Jared, Brian, Mike, Karl and Randy were all outstanding. They were all easy to interact with, answered any questions we had and were very meticulous in building our home. Kevin managed and directed the general every day items for our build and was on top of what was going on. All of the subs that Kurt directed us to did great work and we were happy with the work that was done. Our house and detached garage were finished in 11 months and we have now been living in it for about 3 months over the winter. The framing and finish work on both the house and garage are outstanding. During the entire process we often had a feeling that they were building their own house, instead of ours, due to everyone’s level of detail. We absolutely love our new home and look forward to living here for decades to come. We would definitely recommend Will Construction to anyone wanting to build anything, or have something remodeled. If any member of our families were going to have a house built here, we would want them to pick Will Construction for sure. Thank you all for our wonderful new home….we love it.
We, the Ballingers, have had the pleasure of working with Kurt Will and his construction company, Will Construction, since 2001. Our first job together was a simple concrete pour for a garage. We are DIY’s and younger at the time so my wife and I finished the framing, etc. The job was off Electra Lake Road and a real commute for Kurt and his crew. We were impressed that the job was on time and under budget. When I say on time, I mean the crew showed up when they said they would and did the work perfectly. When I say under budget, there were extras used that we were not charged for and not by omission on Kurt’s part. Since then, Kurt would receive the occasional phone call from us concerning pricing or availability of materials or techniques, usually in the dead of winter, as we planned our next project. The project was a garage floor pour in the Animas Valley in 2013 as we planned for a garage, breezeway and ranch style home to be built in 2014. Still DIY’s but older we handed all the concrete, framing, decking etc. over to Kurt and his crew. We got started later than hoped and we knew that Kurt was pressed by other larger promised jobs so we were going to be a “fit in.” This pleased us just to know that we would have a shell before winter. Happily for us, Kurt was able to expedite our job and finish by the end of June.
It was a pleasure working with Kurt Will in the construction of our new home. We started our build with no prior construction experience. Kurt was very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. He and his crew were very knowledgeable and professional. Their work was high quality, ahead of schedule, and under budget. After our home’s completion Kurt has kept himself available to us for any questions we have had. In addition to the Will Construction internal team, Kurt Will provided us a similar high quality expanded network of subcontractors and suppliers who worked with us to design and install utility systems and interior and exterior features and decors individualized to our unique needs and coordinated to achieve our desired casual country-home design. We were honored that Kurt chose to display our new home in the 2015 Parade of Homes. We believe our house represents Will Construction’s demonstrated skills as a custom residential builder.

Will Construction built our custom home and we could not be happier! We were out of state during the build and Kurt and his team made the process seamless. Great craftmanship and professionalism. Kurt and his construction manager, Kevin were always quick to respond to anything we needed. They went out of their way to send pictures and updates since we could not be at the site as much as we wanted. The quality of the build is outstanding and we would use Will Construction again for any future needs. I highly recommend Will Construction for any building needs.
